



FUZZ Mobile stylists is a disruptor in the hair styling and beauty industry. Born in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic, FUZZ began catering to clients weary of travel and crowded spaces. In the post-pandemic world of remote work and prioritizing self-care over unnecessary stress, FUZZ delivers high quality hairstyling services right to clients’ doors. This position is reflected in the brand’s care-free yet fashion-forward identity.
FUZZ’s branding nods to the romantic history of Los Angeles. Taking inspiration from the city’s natural beauty and glamorous style, the brand evokes beach fashion, palm trees, and the leisurely lifestyle synonymous with LA. The brand’s palette, typography, and imagery blend retro LA style with contemporary design to emphasize the company’s modern take on classic LA style.

FUZZ offers a unique experience in the hair and beauty industry, enabling clients to book styling services in their homes as an on demand service. As such, the website is designed to communicate the brand’s narrative whilst demonstrating the concept of at-home hairstyling, which may be new to many clients.
The site serves as the primary point of conversion for clients using the online booking system. Extensive user testing was undertaken to determine site usability and to identify and reduce pain points in the booking process. The result is a streamlined user experience, increasing conversions and ensuring seamless interactions.





FUZZ's marketing strategy began with comprehensive strategic analysis, starting with a small marketing budget meant it was crucial to find the effective but low-cost strategies. For this reason we decided to focus on organic social media growth across TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook, whilst advertising with Google Ads and Instagram.
Strategically designed Instagram ads, fully aligned with the brand's visual system, significantly boosted engagement and brand awareness, driving meaningful connections with the target audience.

FUZZ's roadmap includes the expansion into haircare product sales. In anticipation, we embarked on a creative exploration of the brand's visual system, extending the identity into the realm of cosmetic product and packaging design. Incorporating the 6-point flower, a recurring motif within FUZZ's brand system, we conveyed themes of growth and regeneration, evoking an image of transformation. The resulting series of mockups is designed to supplement a pitch deck and help envision a range of products that seamlessly integrate with the FUZZ brand.
